What Can I Do? Old

We have not yet won!

The fight against the Javelin Park Incinerator goes on

A 5-week long Public Inquiry into the Javelin Park Incinerator application has been agreed and will start on 19th November. An Inspector has been appointed to hear the case. We now urgently need your support again.

You can be part of the Inquiry and help make sure that this application is thrown out for good by taking the following actions:

1. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY!

Glosvain needs to raise at least £40,000 to cover Inquiry costs for their Advocate and witnesses etc. Please help the campaign and make a donation:

· By Bank Transfer to Gloucestershire Vale Against Incineration: A/c:41283111, Sort Code: 40-43-42, OR

· By Cheque made payable to "Gloucestershire Vale Against Incineration". Please send to: FAO Graham Smith, Quedgeley Parish Council, 9C The Old School House, School Lane, Quedgeley, Gloucester GL2 4PJ.

2. SPEAK AS A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC AT THE INQUIRY

There will be a special Public Session when members of the public can speak at the Inquiry during week commencing 9th Dec 2013 (exact date to be confirmed). We hope that as many of you as possible will chose to do this.

The Inspector has issued a Guidance Note telling you what you need to do. We'd also ask that you let us know if you intend to speak at pr@glosvain.info

3. HELP WITH FUNDRAISING & PUBLICITY

If you have any ideas for fundraising or can help run fundraising campaigns then please get in touch without delay. We need your help! Can you help deliver or hand out leaflets in your area? Do you have any ideas on how to raise public awareness about the incinerator and the Public Inquiry?

If yes, do please email: Diana.Shirley@virgin.net (or tel. 01452 810979)
