BBC Radio 4's "Costing the Earth" programme broadcast a feature on incineration on 19th/20th Feb entitled "Dash for Ash".

The feature gave fantastic coverage for the GlosVAIN campaign with Javelin Park and a host of familiar themes from our campaign right at the centre of it!

It really is unmissable! You can listen to the 30 minute programme here at any time.

The programme features:

* Excellent interview with GlosVAIN chair Sue Oppenheimer up on Haresfield Beacon

* The Avonmouth MBT plant - held up as a real alternative, as with other advanced thermal treatment options that leave incineration in the shade

* Trashed film and an interview with Jeremy Irons and the film's Director

* Professor Vyvyan Howard on need for precautionary approach to health risks (one of our planning objections based on a report we commissioned from him).
