1. Opposing the plans to build the incinerator at every step of the process

• Making representations during Gloucestershire County Council's formulation of its Waste Core Strategy (being examined in Public Jan/Feb 2012)
• Registering opposition during consultations
• Lobbying councillors and MPs
• Opposing the planning application (submitted in Feb 2012).

2. Raising awareness of why incineration is the wrong option and that there are better alternatives

• Engaging with the public, press, councils and councillors
• Demonstrating the weight of opposition to the proposal
• Ensuring that case for opposition to the incinerator is constantly heard and present
