Planning Objections - you have longer than you think..

There is still plenty of time to object to the planning application if you haven't yet done so. You have until at least June to object.

17th April, the end of the "consultation period" on the planning application does not mean an end to being able to submit an objection. The County Council must take note of any objections received right up to the time they consider the planning application at "planning committee", which at the earliest will be in the summer, so don't think you've missed the deadline. However, the sooner you get your response in the better.

Thanks to all those that have already submitted an objection. If you haven't quite got around to it yet there's no time like the present! - you can send in our standard objection letter in your own name here right now!

You will also find guidance there should you wish to write your own objection. Unique, individualised objections are even more powerful, although note that any objection needs to be on recognised planning grounds to be valid.
