Objections Update

Objections to the Planning Application have been going in thick and fast.  We know that around 500 people have objected using our letter, and many more have sent them in directly.  Many people have also posted their own objections directly on the County Council website.
There is still time to object, so if you haven't done so yet, please do so from the link on our homepage. Please do also be sure to pass on the link and to ask others to object also if possible.

Press Coverage

Stroud District Council will be discussing their recommended response to the incinerator proposals on Tue 24th April.  The Citizen have summarised it in an article: Incinerator "will ruin landscape" say Stroud District Council. You can read the whole committee report, which is well worth it, incorporating the CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) objection.

There was also a strong article about the negative health impacts of incinerators in the Stroud News & Journal last week: Fresh call to halt incinerator work following report of health hazards
